October 31: Heritage Lake Trick-or-Treating 6p-8p.
November 18: Holiday Bazaar at the Clubhouse 9:00a - 3:00p sponsored by April Land. This year there are 30+ vendors and a traveling boutique. This is a great time to find the perfect Holiday gift. Food will also be available for purchase.
November 23rd & 24th: The POA office will be closed for Thanksgiving.
December 9: Pictures with Santa at the Clubhouse sponsored by HLNAC. More information to come.
January 9, 2024: Blood Drive from 2p – 7p at the Clubhouse Lower Level. Register at www.redcross.org.
Did you catch the board meeting? – Jocelynn Webber was recognized by Heritage Lake for picking up trash and cleaning up the community. It's always so great to see a young person in the community make a big difference and set a stellar example! Board meetings are the 2nd Monday of the month at 7pm. Come in person or watch on Youtube.
Floyd Fire Dept. will be at the station from 5p-8p on October 31st with hot dogs, hot chocolate, cookies, candy, and fun.
Leaf Disposal at 30 Acres: Open October 14th- December 3rd; Saturdays and Sundays ONLY from 10a-2p. Closed Thanksgiving weekend. If special arrangements are needed for hours outside of this timeframe please call the POA office to set up a time. Appointments will only be set for weekdays between 7a-8a.
Heritage lake Homemakers celebrated the Fall season with a costume party and a spooky luncheon. This group has organized so they can participate in a nationwide program of continuing adult education through extension programs in home economics. They also offer a chance to socialize and have fun, and are always welcoming to new members. Meetings are held the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 11am in the Clubhouse. Make sure to stop by their table at the Holiday Bazaar on November 18th at the Clubhouse.
The Marina is now closed for the season. Thank you to the community and Marina staff for a great year.
The Campground last weekend of camping is October 27. Please turn your winter storage forms into the POA office by November 30th.
